Just pull down the Quick Settings tile or access the display section in the phone’s settings. This feature gets automatically activated when your Android 10 phone switches to battery-saving mode. Initially this feature will likely be limited to Google’s own apps, such as Gmail, Calendar and Photos, but developers have an API for enabling dark themes in their apps as well.
Smart Reply
Smart Reply makes your life easier by allowing you to send some handy preset responses in Google Apps as well as third-party apps like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and Signal. This feature uses machine learning to suggest three short responses that might suit the incoming message. These responses may have various emojis like thumbs up, congratulations, Happy Birthday and many others. It may suggest opening up the Google Maps for the address sent by the sender. Android Screen Casting
Android 10 eliminates the need of Chromecast, the device that helps you to broadcast your phone’s display to a larger screen, like your TV. It can broadcast as well as mirror your phone. Simply go to Quick Settings by dragging the menu down from the top of your phone’s display and tap on the Chrome setting. If you don’t see the setting there, install the Google Home App for Android. Open the App and tap on the Cast screen/audio from its menu and then select your chromecast.
Run apps side-by-side
Multitasking has become easier with Android 10 OS which allows apps to run side-by-side, one above the other. With this functionality you are able to display photos and videos, do your social networking, or multitask like a pro. But this feature is a bit too laggy when it comes to gaming. Android 10 gives you the freedom to change different types of audio—including ringtones, notifications, alarms, phone calls, and media separately. It also gives you a quick-and-easy shortcut. Simply tap the physical volume buttons on the side of your device to make the currently playing audio softer or louder. If no media is playing, pressing the volume up and down buttons will adjust your ringtone volume and a small box will pop up on the screen will appear, showing which volume setting is changing. There is a small arrow, tap it, and the box will expand to show multiple volume sliders at once. This makes your life easy.

People in your house and your friends may sometimes need to use your phone to make a call or use an app. You never know if someone is planning to invade your private photo gallery or wants to defame you by posting something unwanted on your social media. But now you can lend your phone without worrying about a privacy breach by pinning only the app the borrower wants to use. Pinning one app means that you are restricting the borrower from using other apps on your phone until you remove the restriction by entering your screen lock code. Go to the Security menu and enable screen pinning. Then tap the Overview button at the bottom of the screen and you will see the app with a thumbtack like icon. Tap the icon to pin the app onto your screen. Peace of mind, isn’t it?
